Individuals have a number of rights in relation to the data that we hold about them.

At JLT we want to make it as easy as possible for people to exercise data subjects rights so we have created this online form so you can help up by providing all the information we will need to identify and find the individual in our records and to manage any request.
This form should be completed by:
- Individuals seeking to exercise their rights;
- Individuals seeking to exercise rights on behalf of another person; and
- JLT employees who receive rights request from individuals.
We may contact you to verify your identity or to seek clarity on your request.
Tips to getting what you want from your data subject rights request
Data Subject Access Request: Please let us know what information you would like to receive. For example is it a copy of the data we hold on our administration database, a copy of all correspondence relating to a particular issue etc. Please be as specific as possible.
Correction of data: Please let us know how we can correct the data that we hold about you. Please be as specific as possible.
Deletion of data: Please let us know if there is any specific data that we hold about you that you would like deleted or if you would like all of your data deleted. Please be as specific as possible. Please note that there are many circumstances that may mean that we are unable to meet your request, not least our regulatory obligations to retain data. We will let you know if this is the case.
Stop processing personal data: Please tell us what you would like us to stop doing with your personal data and why. For example do you want us to stop working with your data until it has been corrected? Do you believe that we do not have a lawful reason to work with your information? Please be as specific as possible.
Transfer of data: Please let us know what information you would like to transfer and to whom. Please be as specific as possible. Please note that we will only provide you with information that you have provided via one of our websites/portals. We will not transfer information that has been provided by someone else on your behalf or provided by another means e.g. paper forms.
Objection to processing: You have the right to object to our processing of your data in a number of circumstances, for example if we deem it necessary for the public interest or if we deem that we have a legitimate interest in doing so. If you would like us to stop sending you direct marketing please let us know. Please be as specific as possible.
Automated decision making/profiling: Please let us know if you would like us to explain how we profile you or make automated decisions about you using your personal data, whether you would like to know the logic behind these or if you would like us to stop such activities and why. Please be as specific as possible.
Withdrawal of consent: If you have given us your explicit consent to use your personal data for a particular purpose then you have the right to withdraw that consent. Please be as specific as possible, preferably letting us know what you believe you have consented to and what it is it that you would like us to stop doing. Please note that we may not be able to provide services to you if you withdraw your consent. We will let you know of the impact of your withdrawal of consent.
